Early Internet Reaction to the American Third Position Party

Posted by James Bowery on Monday, 11 January 2010 14:14.

The early reaction to the formation of the American Third Position Party is all too tediously predictable:

The Democratic Underground:
* Dropping Academic Veneer, Cal State Prof Starts His Own Hate Group

Orange County Weekly:

Problem is, it’s just another Freedom 14 production of the Golden State Party. The American TP website also has the same registrant as Freedom 14 and the GSP, and nearly the exact layout as the two. Its treasurer is Freedom 14 member, former GSP volunteer, and current fugitive Sean Vaxmonsky. The GSP website is no longer up (and Freedom 14 now has its website behind a password-protected wall), but cached versions show that the home page for its position essays uses the same pictures and captions as the American TP. More embarrassingly, the American TP and GPS position essays not only advocate the same issues, but are almost the same essay word for word—compare the GSP economy position here with the American TP here, and mix and match with the others—with GSP changed to American TP.

Ron Paul Forums (implicitly white and the only real political movement that has been opposed to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964):
* Candy-coated racism. Promote this on Stormfront, not here.
* ...why do these people keep attaching themselves to Ron Paul?
* ...i dont see any similarity between a movement like that, and one like this. collectivism v. individualism.
* Aside from embracing white supremacy, America could already be considered a third positionist/fascist nation…
* wow bad news…
* Dood in the videos is scary.
* Looks like a serial killer.
* Not that I trust the Southern Poverty Law Center (they call Ron Paul supporters dangerous militia members), but they also published an article on the subject too.
* The American version of the BNP can go rot in hell.

Sportbikes.net politics forum (implicitly white):
* It’s led by a long time white supremist, whose operated for decades with via nom de guerres…for someone who is supposedly so prideful of his heritage why would he be such a pussy as to hide his identity.

Bodybuilding.com forum (Implicitly white):
* looks like it will get a solid 100 votes
* So you are giving america back to the Native Americans?
* Cool, a thiny veiled Third Reich revival party right here in our very own United States.
* This political party obviously does not stand a chance in any election because it’s founded on clearly racist principles.
* How the hell is ‘restraint and humility’ a platform for this party’s foreign policy, the same as what the German’s did 7 decades ago???

There is one exception though in a surprisingly objective article from Long Beach Press Telegram:

MacDonald said that establishing American Third Position as a real force in politics represents a “long shot.”

“I’ll be there to talk to people, to justify what the party believes and that sort of thing,” he said. “But I don’t see any other role.”

From the Brit papers

Nothing much doing, so here’s a trawl through some current news stories in the British papers.

When the history is written of how the native English finally woke up, the press’s ineptness at managing the public’s frustration and discontent will surely figure somewhere.  They know what can’t be discussed, of course (so do you, so I won’t labour the point by listing it all).  And they know what has to be discussed (mostly the “racist” and “fascist” BNP).  But they cannot find it in themselves to maintain a consistent line.  Maybe it’s the recession, which is a permanent feature in the newspaper industry, but they are perpetually oblivious to the accumulative effect of all these juicy news stories they run.

Like these:

Flugate

After Climategate ...

The swine flu outbreak was a ‘false pandemic’ driven by drug companies that stood to make billions of pounds from a worldwide scare, a leading health expert has claimed.

Wolfgang Wodarg, head of health at the Council of Europe, accused the makers of flu drugs and vaccines of influencing the World Health Organisation’s decision to declare a pandemic.

This led to the pharmaceutical firms ensuring ‘enormous gains’, while countries, including the UK, ‘squandered’ their meagre health budgets, with millions being vaccinated against a relatively mild disease.

... Dr Wodarg said: ‘The governments have sealed contracts with vaccine producers where they secure orders in advance and take upon themselves almost all the responsibility.
‘In this way the producers of vaccines are sure of enormous gains without having any financial risks.

‘So they just wait, until WHO says “pandemic” and activate the contracts.’

He also claims that to further push their interests, leading drug companies placed ‘their people’ in the ‘cogs’ of the WHO and other influential organisations.

It’s politics.  And it’s KMD.

Posted by Guessedworker on Wednesday, 06 January 2010 18:09.

The American Third Position, acronym A3P, was launched on Monday.  Scroll down to the video of party chairman William D Johnson.  Respectable.  Conservative.  Organisationally, behind him sits none other than Kevin MacDonald who “as a Director of the American Third Position ... influences the course of the party and provides guidance to both the Chairman and President.”

There is very little information on the site about the future electoral strategy of A3P.  Too early, no doubt.  But if the BNP’s experience has had any impact at all, the party will seek to grow from the municipal level upward.  The winning of representation at state legislature level must wait - and it will likely be a wait of a decade, even two.

Anyhow, it’s evidence that the line that “nothing of substance was proposed at Atlanta” is a deception, and that the attitude among the people involved in this development towards their fellow white nationalists is one of palpable distrust and, perhaps, shame.  That is not the BNP’s attitude to fellow-nationalists in Britain.

With so little to go on it is dangerous to draw too firm a conclusion, but under KMD’s influence A3P will surely style itself a modern, common-sense party, but a party of the fourteen words.  I wish it well.  If it prospers it will have to survive and surmount a relentless attack from the usual quarter, including No Platform from a united political mainstream.  If it doesn’t prosper it will be attacked from an increasingly questioning body of WNs.

Giles, Baldwin and State vs Federal Representative Races

Posted by James Bowery on Tuesday, 05 January 2010 18:05.

2010 presents a great opportunity. Turbulent conditions in confluence with off-year electoral races for Representative at both the State and Federal levels, open a window of opportunity.

I have advocated targeting the take over of the US House of Representatives with the Laboratory of the States Platform, which would turn over Federal funds and programs to the States in order to comply with the 10th Amendment.

Others, such as Constitutional Party Presidential candidate Rev. Chuck Baldwin and Mississippi legislature candidate Jimmy Giles of Radio Free Mississippi fame (or infamy depending on your persuasion), have advocated running for Representative seats in State legislatures.  I must admit they have a point but I think they are underestimating the synergy of a combined effort between Laboratory of the States Platform candidates for the US House of Representatives, and candidates for State legislatures.

Candidate Jimmy Giles has been a focal of controversy recently.  Although I dislike the politics of personality that forms the bulk of that controversy, his soon-to-be-defunct “radio program” has been an valuable contribution toward the realization of the potential of 2010.

Let me explain…

On Linder and the attack on the conservatives

Posted by Guessedworker on Tuesday, 05 January 2010 00:02.

The current convulsions in the Regnery

circus

... er,

camp

... er, quarter occasioned by Alex Linder’s brutal but strategic attack on “conservatives” cannot go by without debate here.  Accordingly, I’m posting a comment I’ve put on an Occidental Dissent thread (as it happens, about the, to me, entirely irrelevant changes at Takimag).

The comment is addressed to an OD commenter called Stephen Elliott, who is new at OD and who I have assumed to be Friedrich Braun.  Mr Elliott took it upon himself both to castigate our colleague Captainchaos and to pass a negative remark about MR.  So the beginning of my response is a little personal.  But it quickly opens out into politics.

What follows is a description of the 4 stages of implementation of a decentralized exchange of value, starting with simple barter and ending with a robustly liquid market with totally decentralized monetary authority.  This system is currently at stage 2 of implementation and is geared toward use by mobile devices such as the iPhone, Blackberry and Android phones.

The future begins at midnight

Posted by Guessedworker on Friday, 01 January 2010 00:36.

The clock is ticking.  The world turns and as the year changes, the decade changes too.  If our time is ever to come, the ten years which lie ahead must see the potential in our movement cease to be just that, just potential, and progress, and power and confidence begin to come through.  It would be an unthinkable and terrible failing if nationalism in the European world arrives at the end of “the teenies”, as I suppose the MSM will call them, without that much, at least, to its credit.

But that is for tomorrow.  For tonight, drink and be merry, and sing the auld song.  Good luck to you, and good luck to us all.
